Association for the Promotion of Indigenous Peoples in the Sierra Tarahumara.
Established in February 1996, our association is a non-profit organization and has been entered as such in the German Register of Associations.


Our main objective is to provide European support to the human rights activities undertaken by COSIMA.

Our projects are financed exclusively through membership dues. COSIMA and MITYTAC are the beneficiaries of all incoming donations. Donations received to date have been destined for a school project (school materials, books, repairs) and for MITYTAC.

Kórima is committed to the following activities:

• Promoting and publishing
  These activities include gathering and updating information, publishing it in newspapers and magazines as well as organizing exhibits, courses and slide presentations.
  

• Collecting donations
  
  
• Setting up a local and international network of contacts
  
  
• Creating an information file and a documentary center
